This original series stars Mary McCormack (Private Parts and The West Wing) as Mary Shannon. Her friends and family think she's just a glorified courier, but she's actually a U.S. Marshal working for the Witness Protection Program. Since 1970, the Federal Witness Protection Program has relocated thousands of witnesses to neighborhoods all across the country. When witnesses come forward to testify against the worst-of-the-worst criminals, the U.S. Marshals protect them before and after they testify.
